Warranty Information For SaT.Tun Packages

The team at Satera Tuning always puts reliability before anything when it comes to our builds.

We know how hard our customers work to acquire and then continue to modify these vehicles. One of the biggest fears of modifying newer vehicles is losing a warranty. Not only are vehicles becoming more and more expensive, but so are all the parts and services that go into potential repairs. 

Now here comes the big twist... We all share the addiction of more speed and more horsepower... Naturally as the power level increases, so does the risk of parts failure... This is where we sat down and wanted to come up with a way to provide not only the increase in power they are seeking. We can now increase their confidence and offer peace of mind when they choose one of our packages.

We know we are not the first shop to offer a warranty of some sort.

But we can confidently say, the way we are going to implement and handle these warranties will be an industry first. We worked very hard to develop these packages from the thousands of hours of data we have. Collected over the thousands of vehicles we have built and tuned over the years. And put all the pieces of the puzzles together to what you are seeing now. We are going above and beyond to make sure the top of the line parts are used from the get go. Focus on longevity as well as power. This is how all our packages have been built. But the warranty backed packages are taking it one step further. 

To start, we will do a complete health check and vehicle inspection. Naturally not all vehicles are going to come to us brand new. So we will assess the vehicle from front to back. And before we implement any modifications. We will share the data collected with the customer. One of the worst things you can do is modify a vehicle that is not mechanically sound. We will inspect all fluids, Perform a compression check, and do a complete visual inspection. Once a vehicle passes the test, we then can progress to the fun. 

All vehicles will receive a base line dyno sheet showing the starting point before modifications. We also will video the dyno pull as well. Complete documentation of where we start.

Next we will then begin the process of installing all the components to achieve the level of power the customer is seeking. Which even includes updated spark plugs regardless of mileage. Because we want to make sure that everything is 100% inspected and correct before turning up the power. 

Not only are components added to increase airflow and fuel delivery. We are also taking it one step further with added protection. TWO massive catch cans will be added from Billet Evolution... We are optimizing the PCV system and making sure there is no restrictions, while still preventing oil consumption. Which is a big factor that can actually lower octane of the fuel being burned. So we rely on these items to help keep the oil out of the combustion chamber. Again, an added step for added reliability. Of course, we can't forget the drivetrain. Every vehicle will leave with a Per4mance Rear Differential brace. With the added power, a vehicle can be more prone to wheel hop. Which ultimately could end the life of a rear differential very quickly. Per4mance has been leading the industry with their drivetrain reinforcement. And there is no better way to help reduce the wheel hop and prolong the life of that component as much as possible. 

Once all of the items are in place, the vehicle will then be placed back on the dyno to verify the power gains. Tuning will not only take place there, but we always street tune our vehicles to verify drivability. THIS is just as important, if not more then dyno tuning. Once tuning is complete, we will be topping off all our builds with a Personalized Billet Plaque under the hood... That will list the customer's Name, Package Chosen, Final Power Output, and topped off by being serialized. 

Then the day they pick it up, we will document mileage and keep track in our data base of the warranty status. The packages have the optional 2 year / 24k mile OR 3 year / 36k mile warranty from the date of completion.

 

We will have a maintenance schedule that will need to be followed and documented to maintain the warranty.

ALL REQUIRED MAINTENANCE HAS TO BE PERFORMED BY A DODGE SERVICE DEPARTMENT OR AUTHORIZED SAT.TUN PARTNER

• We will require an oil change to be done every 3 months or 3000 miles.
• The oil chosen must be a proper Synthetic Oil that we will disclose based on the package chosen. 
• Spark plugs need to be changed every 1 year or 12,000 miles.
• Old Spark plugs need to be photographed and sent to Satera Tuning for documentation
• Injectors will need to be cleaned every 1 year or 12,000 miles for 91/93 pump gas packages or every 6 months or 6,000 miles on E85 Packages. 
• IF an e85 equipped vehicle is stored or sits for a period of time longer then 2 weeks without being run. We require the injectors to be cleaned and documented.
• Once a year on the anniversary of the completion of the package, we will require documented proof of mileage up until the expiration of the warranty. 

Requirements for vehicle to be eligible for Warranty Coverage

• Must be 2015 or newer (exceptions may be made on case by case for vehicles 2011+, but please call to verify)
• Under 30k miles (exceptions may be made pending history and maintenance of vehicle, call to discuss)
• If previously modified, vehicle must go through an inspection and health check prior to being accepted
  
• Must have clean title or title clear of defects i.e. no salvage or rebuilt marks on the title

Is this warranty provided by a 3rd Party Company?

 No it is NOT. This is 100% handled all internal at Satera Tuning.

What DOES the warranty cover?

This is a limited drivetrain warranty. It covers items likes Engine, Transmission, Transfer cases, Superchargers, and Rear Differentials.

What does it NOT cover?

Common wear items like Brakes, Axles, Driveshafts, Fuel Pumps, Exterior Body, Anything Electrical or Interior based.

 If I need to do a warranty claim, who can do it?

Starting out, we will have very few select Dealers of our products that will be able to handle the claims and work. We are hoping to be able to expand this network. But really want to focus on building this circle with like minded business. So out of the gate it will be us and those selected dealers

 When does the warranty start?

From the date and milage of completion. We will document and share with you a form that will state these terms.

How Much Does it Cover? 

This Limited Drivetrain Warranty Will Cover

UP TO $15,000 in total repairs.

Which will include Parts and Labor for the repairs needed.
All with a zero deductible.
