1) Our Commitment
At Satera Tuning, we take pride in the quality of our work and the products we provide. Every vehicle we service and every part we sell reflects our commitment to performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
While we stand behind our workmanship, it’s important to understand how warranty and return coverage applies to parts, labor, and services.
2) Labor & Workmanship Warranty
We stand behind our craftsmanship and installation quality; however, no formal warranty is offered on labor or parts directly through our shop.

Manufacturer Responsibility:
Any potential warranty coverage is solely provided by the part manufacturer and must be handled directly with them. -
Our Role:
We’re happy to assist with invoices, documentation, or diagnostic reports needed to support your claim, but we do not facilitate or approve warranty claims on behalf of manufacturers. -
Labor on Warranty Replacements:
Even when a manufacturer approves a parts replacement under warranty, labor for removal, reinstallation, or diagnostics is the customer’s responsibility and will be billed at standard shop rates.
Thank you for understanding that these policies allow us to continue offering high-quality, fair-priced performance services.
3) Returns (30-Day Window)
You have 30 days from receiving your item to request a return.
Eligibility:

Item must be brand new, unopened, unused, uninstalled, and unmodified.

Must include all original packaging, hardware, and accessories.

Proof of purchase is required.
⚠️ Important: If an item has been opened, installed, or tampered with, it may void any possible return eligibility, even if unused. Returns are only accepted for completely unopened merchandise.
To start a return:
Email sales@sateratuning.com with your order number and reason. If accepted, we’ll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and a return shipping label.
Items returned without an RMA will not be accepted.
Condition & Restock Fees:
Items showing wear, installation marks, fuel odor, or missing components may incur up to a 15% restocking fee or be denied return.
Shipping:

Our fault (defective, incorrect, damaged): We cover return shipping.

Customer change of mind or wrong order: Customer pays return shipping.
4) Exchanges
To exchange an item, the fastest route is to complete a return and place a new order once your return is approved.
5) Refunds
After your return is inspected and approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the funds.
If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact sales@sateratuning.com.
6) Non-Returnable / Final-Sale Items
We cannot accept returns on:

Opened or unsealed items (including electronics, sensors, or tuning devices)

Custom or special-order parts

Installed or used parts
-
Digital products & tuning services (custom calibrations, remote tuning, datalog reviews)

Fluids, gaskets, and consumables

Hazardous materials or flammable goods

Gift cards and sale/clearance items
If uncertain about your item’s eligibility, please contact us before opening or installing it.
7) Damages & Incorrect Shipments
Inspect your order upon delivery.
If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact sales@sateratuning.com within 72 hours with photos of the packaging and item. Keep all packing materials until the claim is resolved.
8) Fitment Responsibility
Please confirm fitment and compatibility before installation.
Satera Tuning is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, tool use, or fitment errors.
We’re always happy to confirm part fitment — just contact us to confirm if you are unsure!
9) Performance Parts & Tuning Disclaimer
Performance modifications increase power but also increase stress on factory components.

Custom tuning, calibration files, and data reviews are non-refundable once delivered or scheduled.

No warranty applies to engine, transmission, or driveline components affected by performance upgrades.

Customer assumes all responsibility for safe fuel quality, boost levels, ignition timing, and mechanical integrity.
Emissions Notice:
Some parts and tunes are for off-road/competition use only and may not be street legal in your jurisdiction. Customer is responsible for compliance.
10) Shipping & Order Policies

Title and risk of loss transfer at shipment pickup.

We are not liable for packages once scanned as delivered by the carrier.

Orders may be changed or canceled before shipment; special orders may be non-cancelable once placed.
11) Limitation of Liability
Satera Tuning’s liability is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the original purchase at our discretion.
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages (labor, towing, loss of use, or competition-related damage).
12) Governing Law
All transactions are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
